 Refund Policy

In the unlikely event that a product you have purchased from P Alert is or becomes faulty, we are committed to meeting our obligations under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA). Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

Warranty 

1 year Warranty period on all P Alert products.

P Alert guarantees that all P Alert products be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship. This guarantee expires 12 months after the date of delivery of the products.

This guarantee expires 12 months after the date of delivery of the Products. Claims made after the expiry date will be invalid. Claims must be in writing to P Alert and must be supported by reasonable evidence of purchase.

This guarantee does not apply if:

(a) The Product is improperly installed, maintained, serviced, operated, or cared for, or is subjected to abnormal, unreasonable, or unintended use;

(b) The Product is used with any SIM card, carrier service, network provider, platform, software, hardware, or communication service not approved in writing by P Alert;

(c) Any fault, interruption, degradation, or failure arises from third party products or services, including without limitation: batteries, SIM cards, mobile network operators, telecommunications providers, data services, cloud services, internet connectivity, 4G, 5G, LTE or other network coverage, signal strength, network availability, network outages, carrier restrictions, SIM provisioning, or any other third party supplied infrastructure;

(d) The Product has been modified, tampered with, reconfigured, integrated with, or otherwise interfered with by any third party, including any tenant, occupier, contractor, service provider, reseller, or other person;

(e) The Product is operated through any third party platform, software, application, gateway, monitoring system, or interface that has not been expressly approved in writing by P Alert.

(f) Any request for P Alert's approval must be submitted in writing and include sufficient technical and operational details to enable proper assessment. No approval shall be effective unless expressly granted in writing by P Alert.

P Alert does not warrant the performance, availability, coverage, reliability, or continuity of any third party telecommunications network, SIM service, mobile carrier service, internet service, cloud service, or other outsourced infrastructure upon which the Product may depend that has not been expressly approved in writing by P Alert.

Any item returned that is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be refunded. Claims made after the warranty period will be invalid.
